Great question! Your mirror is spotless. :-) You’re right—the hype is just crazy! Each have their place.

I am a low-key fan of value-based pricing, but mostly when working with bluechip clients that make millions off of my work. I feel far too many truly incredible creatives are ripped off in these types of situations.

I love time-based pricing especially when helping clients diagnose their disconnects in consultations. But when working on projects, I work fast. It sometimes feels like that puts me in an uncomfortable position where I’m not valuing myself enough. It also just feels unethical to work slower. ;-)
