I added the snake oil analogy because of the dirty name some marketers have given the profession. It doesn’t have to be dirty. Marketing can be helping people with problems find the solution to their problems. And that takes leadership. Because the only way to may marking better is if we make better marketers. Marketers can and should be value givers not value thieves.
