That's right. I get you. I'm a gay immigrant. I don't like to make a deal out of this, but on my journey to where I am today, I was bullied by a lot of unkind men and a few unkind women. It was fucking hard. They made me feel worthless. They made me feel like because I am part of a minority, I was worth less. What I didn't get was that because I was part of a minority, I was a rare handcrafted limited edition. What I didn't get was that those were simply not the people I wanted to work with. If someone treats me like an asshole today, I'll just leave them with a kind yet empty hole in their business—no amount of money will ever convince me to work with them again.
