You’re right. Cape Town isn’t perfect. No place on this list is perfect. I also lived in Cape Town for quite a while. With all its flaws it remains my favorite city in the world. The city has enough stigmas already, I am not going to add to it. I saw load shedding as forced reflexion time. And the only way we can change poverty is by recommending tourists to visit again. I’d pick Cape Town over Malibu any day.
